In a new piece of news, Top Gun: Maverick was one of the biggest blockbusters of the year, but if you don't have time to make it to theaters, the next best option is streaming.
Fans of the Tom Cruise-led franchise will have to wait a while before it's available for free from home on Prime Video. The hit title can be viewed when purchased digitally from platforms like Vudu and Google Play, and it's currently listed at $19.99.
With most viewers paying $5 for a new film on demand, it is unclear whether Top Gun: Maverick will be available in a capacity that allows viewers to stream the film on Paramount+ at a lower rate than rent the film.
It will settle down at some point. When Top Gun: Maverick will be available to stream on a platform that Paramount+ hasn't revealed, they'll have to wait a bit longer, and that's for those who haven't already subscribed to the streamer.
The minimum is $5 monthly to subscribe after a one-week free trial. Top Gun: Maverick hasn't been in theaters for 45 days on Paramount. Owing to its success at the box office, it will be a waiting game.
Unless Paramount+ adds titles to its library, but rest assured, customers won't have to pay extra for watching movies.
The ultimate streaming debut of Maverick and catch it anytime on Prime Video Vudu and Google Play for $19.99.
